Most of the time you're safe flying your drone as long as you are checking apps like Airmap for airspace warnings and geo-fenced zones. However, this focuses on seeing the federal laws and flying within those regulations. What it doesn't do all the time is show you local laws. Local drone laws can be trickier in that you sometimes have to hunt for them to be able to understand and fly in accordance. #PilotSchwartz breaks down a few local drone laws he saw in both Ohio while visiting Cedar Point Resort, and while he was in Maui for a vacation, and where he went to learn about those laws to make sure he was flying safely while away from Montana.
