August 2022 Photo Contest | Montana Trestles
Montana has a number of different railroads running through the state and due to the terrain there are a number of trestle bridges to help cross rivers and valleys. Goat Lick Trestle near the town of Essex, MT and the Blacktail Trestle outside of Butte, MT are two trestle bridges featured on our site.

Our pilots are some of the most adventurous people in Montana and we're always outdoors enjoying the summer. For July we decided to capture some Montana waterfalls to showcase and then added in some pictures of waterfalls from adventures to Hawaii and Puerto Rico.

MDC pilots were tasked with taking some American Flag photos throughout Montana so we could release the pictures right before the 4th of July celebration. Flags are difficult to photo because it takes the correct wind blowing the right direction to try and get the final shot.
